Medical, Educational, And Awareness Programs To Support Men And Their Families As They Journey With Prostate Cancer
Fans for the Cure is dedicated to positively influencing the lives of men and their families by organizing awareness, educational, and medical programs focused on prostate cancer. Working closely with its Medical Advisory Board, Fans for the Cure has provided free PSA screenings as well as support groups, educational seminars, physician referrals, and community awareness campaigns. Fans for the Cure has expanded from distributing informational brochures at summer baseball games to maintaining a full twelve-month schedule of health fairs, ballpark screenings, peer-to-peer discussions, and various advocacy roles at medical meetings and conventions, often in collaboration with its national healthcare partners.
