Mental Health Education For Middle And High School Students, Teachers, and Counselors In Michigan
The mission of the Mental Illness Research Association (MIRA) is to increase awareness of mental illness and suicide prevention by presenting mental health education programs to middle and high school students, teachers, and counselors in Michigan. Through our educational programs, curriculum, and keynote speakers, we seek to increase the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness, help the school community to better detect and prevent suicidal behavior, and decrease any stigma surrounding mental health issues.
