Mittens For Detroit collects, purchases, and distributes new mittens and gloves to children, teens, and adults in need in Detroit, Hamtramck, Highland Park, and Dearborn, Michigan. Pairs are publicly collected from October through January each year, sorted by hundreds of volunteers, and distributed through our Distribution Partner network of nearly 100 schools, agencies, food pantries, veterans' groups, and the like. Since our start in 2010, more than one-quarter million pairs have been distributed.
