With creativity at the center of everything we do, SkyART provides free, safe, and open spaces where young people are empowered, nurtured, and connected through art. Through our studio, school, and community programs, as well as our multi-city-block artists garden, we provide students the space to demonstrate their voice, personal expression, and freedom of choice. Founded by Sarah Ward in a small rented studio, SkyART now has a six-thousand-square-foot facility that includes three multi-purpose art spaces, a state-of-the-art computer lab, a kitchen studio, a gallery space, and a space for work in ceramics, metals, and sculpture.
