Financial Relief For Preventative Healthcare To Chicago Dance Professionals
Chicago Dancers United provides financial assistance for preventative healthcare and critical medical needs to Chicago dance industry professionals to ensure a healthy and thriving dance community. Through The Dancer’s Fund, short-term grants are awarded to active and retired dance professionals. The Critical Health Need Grant helps dancers to cover medical expenses related to the diagnosis of a critical health issue and can be up to $5,000 annually. The General Health and Wellness Grant helps cover non-critical health expenses like insurance premiums, medical bills, and mental health sessions and can be up to $1000 annually. Chicago Dancers United also offers free online wellness resources and a directory of wellness providers.
