Gynecologic Cancer Care Specialists Working Together To Eradicate Gynecologic Cancer
The Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO) is a nonprofit medical society that promotes excellence in the care of women at risk for or affected by gynecologic cancer through advocacy, education, research, and inter‐disciplinary collaboration. SGO membership includes representatives from the entire cancer care team: medical and radiation oncologists, pathologists, researchers, gynecologic oncology nurses, physician assistants, palliative care specialists, patient advocates, and social workers. SGO contributes to the advancement of gynecologic cancer care by encouraging research, providing education, raising standards of practice, advocating for patients and members, and collaborating with other domestic and international organizations.
