Free Family-Fun Experiences and Home-Related Services To Support Pediatric Cancer Families
The Super Drew Foundation provides families battling pediatric cancer with free family-fun experiences and home-related services that give them an opportunity to feel “normal” and focus on their child during an incredibly challenging time. The experiences include free tickets to sporting events, concerts, amusement parks, and more. The services include lawn mowing, snow plowing, house cleaning, among many others. With a desire to give back after having received so much love and support during their own cancer journey, Andrew and Melissa Akash founded the organization in honor of their son Drew, who has spent years on chemotherapy after being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor at nine months old.
