Funding Cost-Free Breast-Health Testing For The Uninsured And Underinsured
A Silver Lining Foundation funds cost-free breast-health testing (screening and diagnostic mammogram, ultrasound, MRI, and biopsy) for women and men throughout Chicagoland and the surrounding region who are uninsured, underinsured, or ineligible for other breast-health testing programs. Our fifteen partner hospitals ensure that anyone tested through ASLF’s program will receive cost-free treatment via public programs or the hospital's charity care program if breast cancer is diagnosed. To date, ASLF has provided cost-free screening and diagnostic testing to nearly 25,000 women and men.
