Aspiritech
Meaningful Employment In Quality Assurance For Autistic Adults
Aspiritech is a software testing and quality assurance (QA) company that empowers individuals on the autism spectrum to fulfill their potential through meaningful employment combined with social opportunity. Many autistic adults have average to above-average IQs and possess some unique talents, such as laser-like focus, attention to detail, superior ability to spot irregularities, superlative technical skills, lack of boredom with highly repetitive tasks, and an intense desire to do work that is commensurate with their skills. Our employees provide manual and automated testing, software and hardware testing, and data integrity and migration. We also provide paid vocational training in QA and social programs for our employees and other autistic adults in the community. From a kitchen table, Brenda and Moshe Weitzberg founded Aspiritech with the dream of finding suitable employment for their adult son, Oran, who is a college-educated, kind, and capable person on the autism spectrum but was having difficulty in finding work that suited his talents. Aspiritech now has more than 125 employees in two locations and is growing every day.
