Providing Support To 72 Schools With Demonstrated Need In The Chicago Region
Big Shoulders Fund (BSF) serves schools with demonstrated need to ensure those schools remain open and continue to provide a quality, values-based education for Chicago’s children. Since its founding, BSF has raised more than $400 million to support schools in four major areas: scholarships and enrichment, operational improvements, academic programs, and leadership development. BSF’s goal is not just to strengthen schools but to strengthen whole communities by preparing students for lifelong success. BSF currently serves 20,000 students in 72 schools in the Chicago region.
