Financial Assistance And Support For Families Dealing With The Sudden Loss Of A Loved One Due To Cancer
On June 23, 2020, we lost Erik "Big Tree" Knapp suddenly to glioblastoma brain cancer. In his honor, we established the Big Tree Memorial Fund (BTMF) to provide financial assistance and support to families dealing with the sudden loss of a loved one due to cancer. We raise funds by hosting the annual Big Tree Invitational golf tournament in Maryland and many other events. On average, we annually donate about $15,000 each to multiple families.
