Helping Cancer Patients And Caregivers To Focus More On Christ And Less On Cancer
The mission of Cancer Companions is to provide safe and supportive environments for people impacted by cancer to draw closer to Christ. Whether meeting one-on-one at a coffee shop or gathering with others in a support group, Cancer Companions helps patients, survivors, and their loved ones find the connections they need to draw closer to Christ on their cancer journey. Our trained volunteers provide three basic services: Cancer Prayer Partners, Bible Study Meetings, and Thirty Days Of Cancer Prayer. Christian author and family therapist Karen Tripp founded Cancer Companions based on her personal family cancer experiences, so that she and her team’s trained volunteers can build others’ Christian faith while strengthening their own.
