Canine Therapy Corps
Free Animal-Assisted Therapy Programs For Individuals Facing Disabilities, Trauma Or Illness
For over 25 years, Canine Therapy Corps’ therapy dogs have motivated individuals to regain strength, confidence, and independence as they persevere over traumatic injuries and devastating illness or live with chronic disabilities, both physical and emotional. Each of Canine Therapy Corps’ ongoing program sessions foster an atmosphere where successful interactions with therapy dogs provide participants with continuous positive reinforcement. These positive interactions motivate participants to face the repetitive, difficult, and often painful tasks necessary for healing – tasks which can shorten hospital stays and improve outcomes. Our dogs don't just help people feel better, they help them get better.
