Chicago Dance Health Fund provides financial assistance for preventative healthcare and critical medical needs to Chicago dance industry professionals to ensure a healthy and thriving dance community. The Fund awards short-term grants to active and retired dance professionals. Critical Health Need Grants help dancers cover medical expenses related to the diagnosis of a critical health issue and can be up to $5,000 annually. General Health and Wellness Grants help cover non-critical health expenses such as insurance premiums, medical bills, and mental health sessions and can be up to $1000 annually. Chicago Dance Health Fund also offers free online wellness resources and a directory of wellness providers.
