Dutton Farm
Empowering Adults With Disabilities Through Educational Programming, Community Involvement, And Workforce Development
Dutton Farm empowers and supports adults with disabilities to live a life of purpose, inclusion, and dignity. Our Adult Education program provides instruction in horticulture and animal care, focusing on the skills of consistency, detail, and understanding to teach daily living and prevocational skills. Our Community Involvement activities allow participants to engage with others through farm consumerism excursions, field trips, and community events. Our Workforce Development sessions are based on a person-first model that connects participants with employers who are offering opportunities that most closely align with the participants’ goals, strengths, and needs. Our vision is to create a just world of dignified inclusion for every person in our schools, workplaces, government, communities, churches, and beyond.
