Erika's Lighthouse
A Beacon of Hope for Adolescent Depression
“Erika’s Lighthouse: A Beacon of Hope for Adolescent Depression” is a nonprofit organization committed to raising awareness about teen depression in middle school and high school communities at no cost to schools. Founded in 2004 after Ginny and Tom Neuckranz lost their 14-year-old daughter to adolescent depression, Erika’s Lighthouse aims to eliminate the stigma surrounding depression and empower young people to take ownership of their mental health. Through evidence-informed programs and countless other web-based resources, Erika's Lighthouse works to "Get Depression Out of the Dark."
