Feeding Girls In Need To Prevent Exploitation
Feed A Billion (FAB) helps to prevent exploitation by working with international and local organizations to provide nutritious meals to girls in need. Whether by leaving school to work, marrying early, or entering human trafficking, food insecurity can drive girls to make desperate choices and become vulnerable to exploitation and harm. FAB partners with local organizations, schools, and athletic programs in the United States, Africa, and India in order to provide nutritious meals to as many food-insecure girls as possible. By helping to keep girls in school, FAB’s goal is to lessen the likelihood and opportunity of exploitation while ensuring that each girl can grow up properly and safely to achieve her full potential.
