Bringing Joy And Positive Experiences to Homeless And Foster Children
The mission of Fill A Heart 4 Kids is to provide positive experiences for homeless youth and foster children so that they feel loved and valued. Volunteers take children to the movies, help celebrate a child’s birthday or special holiday, and write thoughtful notes to the children. In addition, volunteers make care packages filled with gifts for special occasions and survival packs filled with immediate basic necessities like blankets and toiletries. The goal is that these positive experiences will help heal children’s hearts, restore their dignity, and increase their self-worth for a brighter future. Founded by a family that began taking in homeless children more than a decade ago, Fill A Heart 4 Kids has helped more than 1,350 children.
