Gynecologic Cancer Research, Education, And Public Awareness
The Foundation for Women's Cancer (FWC) steadily pursues its mission of supporting research, education, and public awareness of gynecologic cancers. The FWC is the official foundation of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO), the premiere medical specialty society for healthcare professionals trained in the comprehensive management of gynecologic cancers. The FWC has granted millions of dollars in research grants and awards to young investigators in the field of gynecologic oncology. The FWC also hosts patient education courses around the country which provide the most current information on treatment options, research, and quality of life taught primarily by gynecologic oncologists. It is through initiatives like these that we continuously work towards our ultimate goal of eradicating women's cancers.
