Providing Holiday-Themed Parties, Costumed Characters, And Fun Activity Boxes To Pediatric Patients
The mission of Holiday Heroes is to provide joy and an improved quality of life to pediatric patients through a combination of in-person and virtual programs. Every season, we host holiday-themed parties at each of our hospital and clinic partners. The parties feature personal visits with a costumed character, age-appropriate activity boxes, a catered meal, and a themed gift bag. The parties provide a fun distraction from the anxiety and stress of being hospitalized and bring moments of joy and normalcy to pediatric patients and their families. Serving thousands of children every year, Holiday Heroes has provided parties and activity boxes to more than 38,500 young heroes and their families since its founding in 2009.
