Hunger Free America is a nonpartisan, national nonprofit organization building the movement to enact policies and programs to end domestic hunger and ensure that all Americans have sufficient access to nutritious food. As a leading research and advocacy organization, we work to implement innovative yet practical solutions to hunger by presenting research-informed policy suggestions to politicians at all levels of government. As a direct service organization, we assist food-insecure families obtain aid from government programs, provide volunteers to partner organizations across the country, and operate the National Hunger Hotline to connect those in need with government food assistance programs, food pantries, and summer meals for kids. Since our founding in 1983, we have been an effective champion in the fight for economic, racial, and food justice.
