Services For Older Adults, Mental Health And Wellness, And Safety Net
Jewish Family Service of Metro Detroit (JFS) is a non-sectarian, nonprofit, health and social services organization that provides a safety net for those facing difficult situations. Inspired by the wisdom and values of Jewish tradition, JFS touches the lives of thousands of people each year through a variety of programs centering around older adults, mental health and wellness, and safety net. These services include, but are not limited to, geriatric care management, transportation, friendly visitors, counseling, suicide prevention trainings, health care navigation, basic needs assistance and public benefits enrollment, as well as specialized services for the Orthodox and Russian-speaking communities. JFS is dedicated to helping individuals and families so that no person faces life’s challenges alone.
