Junior Economic Club Of Chicago
Economic Education
For High School Students
The Junior Economic Club of Chicago (JEC) is an entirely student-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that sparks and facilitates meaningful discussion about economic issues between determined high school students. We achieve our goal by hosting economic forums featuring leading figures of Chicago’s business world, producing a quarterly newspaper written by students about contemporary economic issues, and connecting students with the resources and people they need to make a difference. JEC members also participate in service-learning projects aimed to give back to all communities in Chicago. Inspired by The Economic Club of Chicago, the JEC is an entirely independent entity of more than 80 high school students from across Chicago.
