Bringing Hope, Comfort And Joy To Kids Battling Cancer
The Little Wish Foundation grants “little wish gifts” to children with cancer to provide hope, comfort and joy. Teenager Liz Niemiec founded Little Wish after her family-friend Max died of a rare kidney cancer. Max’s little wish, which his parents granted, was to have a pet dog. When Liz saw how much happiness the dog created for Max, she decided to make “little wish gifts” come true for other children fighting cancer. Little Wish partners with pediatric oncology departments at hospitals across the country and has granted more than 1800 wishes, such as gaming systems, musical instruments, concert tickets, pets, laptops, and many more.
