Helping Feed People In Need By Rescuing Food That Would Otherwise Be Discarded
The mission of Metro Food Rescue is to feed individuals and families in need by rescuing food that would otherwise be discarded in landfills and delivering it to a network of food pantries. Our trucks are on the road six days per week, picking up food from more than 25 locations and delivering it to more than 50 partner food banks. Last year, we rescued 1.5 million meals worth of food.
