Free Support To Victims Of Child Abuse And Their Families in Northeast Texas
The Northeast Texas Child Advocacy Center serves a seven-county region in northeast Texas, dedicated to supporting children ages 2-17 who have experienced sexual abuse, severe physical abuse, or have witnessed violent crime or drug use in their homes. We prioritize minimizing trauma by allowing children to share their experiences with a trained forensic interviewer in a non-leading manner. Our center provides a safe, child-friendly environment where law enforcement, child protective services, legal professionals, medical experts, and mental health specialists collaborate. Together, we share information and develop coordinated strategies tailored to the unique needs of each child and case. Our mission is to reduce trauma for child abuse victims and their families through evidence-based, trauma-informed services free of charge.
