Providing Mentorship And Scholarship To Underserved Youth In Chicago
Partnership To Educate And Advance Kids (PEAK) focuses on an often overlooked segment of Chicago’s youth: academically average students from our city’s most underserved neighborhoods. Through a rigorous interview process, we identify incoming freshmen who demonstrate the grit, ability, and desire necessary to flourish in life – if only given financial, educational, and personal support through their high school years. PEAK's unique approach combines a four-year, full-tuition high school scholarship with an award-winning mentoring program. PEAK mentors are paired with a scholar at the start of freshman year and commit to this one-to-one relationship for all four years. All PEAK scholars have been accepted into college since 2006.
