Providing Tuition Assistance Scholarships To High School Graduates In Pontiac, Michigan
The mission of the Pontiac School District Promise Zone Authority Board is to reduce the disparity in postsecondary educational attainment, by providing financial assistance to high school graduates in the Pontiac School District. Promise Zone Scholarships are awarded to students looking to attend an accredited college, university, or trade school in Michigan and seeking to earn a two-year degree, four-year degree, or certification. Eligible students must live within the boundaries of the Pontiac School District and can receive up to $36,000 in financial support for their combined tuition and fees (enrollment, technology, activity, registration, etc.), not including room and board. If eligible, students may also receive up to $400 per semester for book reimbursement.
