Project Rise promotes economic and social mobility for underemployed individuals and families by engaging them in their financial well-being and the economic growth of their community. We provide financial coaching, financial education webinars, and financial assistance grants. We also operate a mobile pantry to provide daily necessities such as hygiene products, toiletries, and baby items for families facing financial challenges. By offering short-term financial relief and long-term financial skills programs, we seek to bridge the gap between the working poor and their financial independence. A social worker who found herself not alone in making too much money to receive government assistance but not enough to cover her basic living expenses, Sierra Devoe founded Project Rise to create and foster a community where people can live, work, and thrive.
