Revolution Workshop builds skills, hope, and resilience in Chicago's underserved communities through construction job training and job creation. Our free, 12-week, pre-apprenticeship program offers comprehensive entry-level construction training and industry certification. Our holistic support services include financial literacy training, career coaching, and executive functioning. Our trainees and alumni also create beautiful custom furniture and home goods in our Social Enterprise program. To date, we have trained more than 150 people, placing over 90% of our graduates into entry-level construction jobs, earning an average wage of more than $18 per hour. Together, we are blazing a trail towards a more diverse and inclusive construction industry. And we will not rest until we have created a future that holds opportunity, equity, and peaceful communities for all.
