Providing Colorful And Fun Bed Sheets To Pediatric Oncology Patients
Sheets From Home is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides new and fun bed sheets to pediatric oncology patients. Our mission is to bring smiles to children fighting cancer, by transforming their hospital rooms with fun and colorful bed sheets that feel more like home. Our goal is to help ease their pain and make them feel at home while undergoing cancer treatments in the hospital. The children receive these bed sheets free of charge during their in-patient hospital stays. Asaf and Ya-el Halevi founded Sheets From Home after they saw the smile and comfort on the face of their three-year-old son – in the hospital for months fighting cancer – when they replaced his white hospital bed sheets with his SpongeBob, Spiderman, and Darth Vader sheets from home.
