Empowering, Mentoring, And Inspiring Single Parents And Their Children
The mission of Single Family Living (SFL) is to provide single parent families with positive guidance and outreach relating to financial budgeting, housing, relationships, family care, education, counseling, life skills, stress management, and economic development. SFL’s programs are based on the belief that “it takes a village to raise a family,” and the organization serves single parents living in Wayne, Oakland, or Macomb Counties in Michigan. After persisting in the face of many roadblocks and negative people in her life, Jeri Hunley founded SFL to empower other single parents to find their voice and develop positive life skills.
