Statement Junky is a youth development nonprofit that is dedicated to creating future world leaders by changing the way girls and young women of color interact and see the world. Our mission is to gift girls and women of color with an essential key to access the world – her first passport. Our enrichment courses, empowerment conferences, and after-school programs are a safe and inspiring space for participants to thrive, build lifelong relationships, and discuss topics and issues unique to them. Using a passport as a tool to access the world, Statement Junky’s vision is that each girl will reach beyond the borders of her community while utilizing self-discovery, personal experiences, and knowledge gained through exploration to ultimately change the world.
