Personal And Professional Development Programs To Help Incarcerated Women Reenter The Workforce And Society
The mission of Televerde Foundation is to provide currently and formerly incarcerated women with the personal and professional development programs necessary for them to successfully join and advance in the global workforce. Our reentry program includes classes for professional etiquette, career mapping, resume creation, interview practice, financial literacy, emotional intelligence, relationship building, coping mechanisms, and communication skills. We also provide participants with ongoing educational opportunities through scholarships, advanced financial literacy, peer-to-peer support, and professional mentoring to ensure a successful transition back into society. We seek to enable women to break the cycle of poverty and recidivism by becoming positive role models for their children and families, changing the lives of future generations, and building stronger communities.
