Active Children Excel Project
Building Strengths And Empowering Communities Through Tennis, Education, And Mentorship
The Active Children Excel Project (“The ACE Project”) serves up positive youth development in Black and Brown communities through tennis, education, and mentorship. What began as a tennis camp in response to extracurricular cuts within Dolton/Riverdale District 148 has grown into a national model reaching youth in Chicago, Baltimore, and Detroit with year-round programs. By recruiting coaches from the community, ACE strengthens family systems and expands equitable opportunities for children to thrive, building resilience and driving generational change both on and beyond the tennis court.
