Youth Behavioral Health Services, Child Welfare Programs, And Community Advocacy
Our mission is to help children and families shape their own futures. We support children and families as they heal and grow through trauma, provide skill development for children with developmental disabilities, and provide safe homes for children in foster care. From individual therapy to social skills groups, parent support initiatives to youth advocacy programs, we envision a healthy community that heals through meaningful connectedness and support. We have been helping children and families in Detroit and across Wayne County since 1929, when The Children's Center was founded by Senator James Couzens and Henry Ford.
