Funding, Mentorship, And Community To Help College Sophomores Scale Their Nonprofits
Our mission is to help 100 sophomores scale their nonprofits throughout college and beyond, without burning out along the way. Today, over 4,000 student-led nonprofits exist in the United States, but nearly 80% fade within a year, largely because less than 1% of funding reaches these youth organizations. College is a rare window of opportunity, a space before real-world pressures fully set in. That’s where TRIIBE comes in: personalized support for five sophomores each semester, affirming their path and sustaining their vision. We provide funding ($5,000 cash prizes to scale impact), mentorship (guidance from experienced leaders to optimize strategies), and community (opportunities to connect with other young changemakers). We envision a future in which nonprofit directors are in every graduating class, marking an increase in the longevity of youth-led initiatives.
