Youth Who Have Suffered Trauma Can Become Our Future Leaders
Founded almost 150 years ago during the Civil War, UCAN’s vision is to help youth who have suffered trauma to become our future leaders. We seek to increase economic and social independence by providing programs that help to heal trauma, prevent violence, build strong families, and educate and empower our youth. Today, UCAN impacts over 13,000 at-risk youth and families across Illinois through more than 30 programs.
