Tool-Lending Program For Community Based Organizations
Windy City ToolBank is a tool-lending program that serves community-based organizations by providing tools, equipment, and expertise to empower their most ambitious goals. We bring a low-cost alternative to purchasing, storing, and maintaining the tools and equipment that nonprofits and other community groups need to make their projects possible. ToolBank tools are only available to organizations whose work benefits our shared community, such as nonprofits and charities, schools and parent-teacher associations, neighborhood associations, faith-based groups, civic organizations, and government agencies. Our tools cover a wide range of activities: cleaning, construction, electrical, ladders, moving, painting, and safety. Membership is free for qualifying partner organizations, which get year-round access to our inventory of tools and equipment for a nominal fee. We are a recognized affiliate of the ToolBank USA network.
