CLOZTALK Nonprofit Partners And Their Founders Are Garnering Media Attention Across The Country! The Battle Continues, Book Fairies, And Tutoring Chicago.

Many injured veterans return from battle only to face grueling physical and mental challenges and enormous financial burdens. THE BATTLE CONTINUES helps veterans and their families fight the battle that continues after war by providing funds for medical treatments. The nonprofit was founded by Dr. Sudip Bose, a physician who served 12 years in the United States Army and received the Bronze Star Medal. A nationally recognized speaker, Dr. Bose uses his speaker fees to cover all administrative costs of The Battle Continues, so that 100% of each donation goes directly to the injured veterans. Amazon Prime Video is now launching a 12-episode series featuring Dr. Bose as the “Desert Doc.”

BOOK FAIRIES sources and redistributes new and gently used books to under-resourced communities across Long Island, New York City, and the world to provide equitable opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive. The nonprofit collaborates with and distributes the books to educators and nonprofit organizations, such as schools, foster care agencies, pediatric offices, and after-school programs. The nonprofit’s founder recently talked to WPIX-TV about sparking a love of reading in children.

TUTORING CHICAGO delivers the power of education to children facing economic barriers through one-to-one tutoring and high-quality, academic, developmental programming. With the help of trained and educated adult volunteers and a program staff comprised of former teachers, each student is matched with their own tutor and receives weekly individualized instruction during the school year. Last month, NBC-TV 5 featured Tutoring Chicago in its "Making A Difference" segment.
