Our Nonprofit Partners continue to share their missions and reach new audiences in their local markets.
Check out this interview with a local Seattle TV station featuring our Nonprofit Partner Thriving Elements' founder Janet Phan. She's representing in her CLOZTALK tee while discussing her organization's mentoring program, designed to encourage more female students to choose STEM classes and careers.
Our friend LeeAnn Trotter at NBC 5 interviewed Female Strong’s CEO Jody LaVoie and Young Entrepreneurs Academy alum Gizlangba “GiGi” Gbor for her Making a Difference segment. GiGi was the winner of the 2020 YEA! Investor Panel. Her business idea was a book titled Margaret’s Child to help kids learn how to take care of their hair and avoid a lifetime of “bad hair days.” The inspiration for the business stemmed from her personal experiences in the foster care system. Through YEA!, GiGi built up her confidence to be able to raise the funds necessary to publish Margaret’s Child.
