Our partner, Patient Advocate Foundation, was recently featured in The Wall Street Journal following a major milestone in the nonprofit healthcare space. The organization has combined with Patient Access Network (PAN) Foundation, creating one of the largest patient-assistance nonprofits in the country with more than $800 million in assets dedicated to helping patients access care.
For years, Patient Advocate Foundation has helped individuals navigate complex healthcare challenges—supporting patients who are facing insurance denials, high medical costs, and barriers to treatment. Through case management, financial assistance programs, and advocacy, the organization works to ensure that patients can focus on their health rather than the financial burden of care.
With this new partnership, the combined organization will expand its reach even further—offering a streamlined application process and more than 130 disease-specific financial assistance funds to help patients afford medications and treatment.
