Nonprofit in the News: Twist Out Cancer

Twist Out Cancer (TOC) is founded on a simple but powerful belief: when you share, the world opens up. Based in Philadelphia with an international reach, TOC provides psychosocial support for individuals touched by cancer through creative arts programming. Their signature initiative, Brushes With Cancer, pairs those impacted by cancer with talented artists to create original works that reflect each person’s unique journey.

This fall, Twist Out Cancer was featured on NBC Philadelphia, spotlighting their Brushes With Cancer fall exhibition and the meaningful relationships and healing created through their programs. Since 2011, they’ve continued to build a global community rooted in sharing, creativity, and emotional support.
