Detroit-based At Bat’s softball and baseball programs, in partnership with local communities and schools, introduce at-risk youth to a sport they may not otherwise have the opportunity to learn how to play. Founder Delrisha Hayes appeared on CW50 to discuss the summer clinics, which also incorporate STEM learning into baseball fundamentals. Since 2015, At Bat has served more than 200 kids across the Detroit area.
