Illinois-based JACK BEAR FOUNDATION raises public awareness and funds research for the development of a treatment and cure for Spinocerebellar Ataxia Recessive Type 15 (SCAR-15). This rare, degenerative, genetic disorder impacts the cerebellum and is characterized by progressive loss of coordination of hands, gait, speech, eye movement, and developmental delay. After several years of specialist appointments and medical testing, Matt and Carrie Pinkham’s young son Jack – affectionately known as “Jack Bear” – was finally diagnosed with SCAR-15. They founded the nonprofit to honor their son and to help others. Dressed in their CLŌZTALK apparel, the entire Pinkham family looks fabulous and shows pride for Jack Bear Foundation!
New York-based THE RIVERSIDE ORCHESTRA is a community symphony orchestra based in New York City’s Upper West Side. The nonprofit is proud to have served as the training grounds for many emerging conductors and musicians, and the group collaborates with amazing soloists, often members of the New York Philharmonic and other great orchestras. At their rehearsals, many musicians fashionably sport CLŌZTALK gear to show team pride.
Illinois-based NEW MOMS helps young mothers as they take their first steps toward economic mobility and family well-being. Through its housing, job training, and family support programs, New Moms partners with families to strengthen core life skills, support early childhood development, build pathways for education and employment, and expand positive social networks and access to community resources. At a recent fundraising-and-recruitment event led by the New Moms Associate Board, this board member proudly wears a CLŌZTALK hoodie to show nonprofit pride!
