Michigan-based DETROIT PUBLIC SCHOOLS FOUNDATION (DPSF) is dedicated to bringing resources to students in the Detroit Public Schools Community District. Illinois-based RECOVERY ON WATER (ROW) is a rowing team that gives patients and survivors of breast cancer the unique opportunity to interact, become active in their recovery, and gain support from fellow survivors. Massachusetts-based ELLIE FUND provides essential support services to breast cancer patients to ease the stresses of everyday life, allowing the focus to be on family, recovery, and healing. The nonprofit’s assistance with groceries, healthy delivered meals, transportation to medical appointments, childcare, housekeeping, and integrative therapy services, free of charge, helps to relieve burdens on patients and families while in treatment.
