This story is amazing on so many levels! Two of our Nonprofit Partners, GCE Lab School and Dreams For Kids , were recently featured on ABC 7 News by one of our favorite local reporters, Michelle Gallardo. We especially love that it features an entrepreneurial teenager, Nissrine Bedda, who has seen the light about the connection power of apparel, a cause that is close to our hearts.
"In order to make social change and a global change, you need communication and you need a connection," Nissrine said. "I was never really into fashion, but if you do think about it, fashion really allows you to connect with somebody. It's the first thing you see when you go up to somebody."
