The CHICAGO AREA ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION LEAGUE (CAAEL) seeks to eliminate the athletic-and-activity gap facing at-risk and special education students who have been removed from mainstream schools for severe behavioral and emotional issues. Each year, CAAEL offers more than 1,000 school activities (athletic games, art events, spelling bees, academic bowls, etc.) to thousands of students and innovative guidance and programming to alternative school educators. Here, CAAEL Founder Sarah Lorenzi and a team member stylishly wear their CLOZTALK t-shirts to present a CAAEL Coach of the Year Award and check!
