Active Transportation Alliance In Chicago and Heart House in Dallas are Sharing Their Missions and Making an Impact in Their Communities

Heart House uses innovative after-school and summer educational programs to combat poverty and promote equity for refugee children living in Dallas. The nonprofit's social-emotional learning programs increase academic performance, improve mental health, and establish a pathway to success for each child – in school and in life.
